SCHOOL DAY OF NON-VIOLENCE AND PEACE, January, 30th

This week we are celebrating the School Day of Non-Violence and Peace. We are dedicating this day to Nelson Mandela who died last December.

Our students will read and write about Mandela and his country: the students of 1º ESO will draw the map of Southafrica and will find out some geographical features about this country. In 2º ESO they will write a short biography and in 3º  they will investigate about Apartheid. Finally, in 4º they will read the poem INVICTUS, that Mandela repeated himself when he was in prison for 27 years. This poem gives title to the film they are watching in the Tutory lesson. The poem is the following:
